Betsy Teutsch

Betsy Teutsch, a native of Fargo, ND, has enjoyed a long career as a Judaica artist, creating ketubot (wedding contracts), providing the calligraphy and illustration for the Kol Neshamah Reconstructionist Prayerbook series and ceremonial Judaica. She has pursued an interest in global girls’ and women’s empowerment, authoring 100 Under $100: Tools for Empowering Global Women, low-tech solutions for improving lives. She wrote a subsequent guide for the Postharvest Foundation, 100 Under $100: Tools for Reducing Postharvest Losses, in use around the world. She is active at Minyan Dorshei Derekh, in Mt. Airy, Philadelphia. At present, she is working hard to preserve our democracy. Along with her husband David, she is a doting grandparent to four.
