Dan Woods

Dan Woods has been a member of the Society for the Advancement of Judaism in New York City since 2001. He serves on the board of SAJ, is a member of the Technology Committee and helps lead the Tish program, a series of talks before Shabbat services about Jewish Learning presented by SAJ members. Building on his skills as a writer about technology, Dan enjoys digging into the details of how to make Jewish practices work in our everyday lives. He teaches about Maimonides’ chapter on Teshuvah from the Mishneh Torah on Shabbat Shuvah every year, and he is slowly learning how to use each prayer in the siddur to have a positive impact on his daily life. Dan is the husband of Daniele Gerard, an SAJ member; the father of Fiona and Eamon; an adventurous cook and foodie; and a proud Ann Arbor townie.
