Matthew Boxer

Matthew Boxer is an assistant research professor at the Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies and Steinhardt Social Research Institute at Brandeis University, where he taught in the Hornstein Jewish Professional Leadership Program for 10 years.ย His research varies widely and includes the socio-demography and social psychology of the American Jewish community, altruistic behavior, Israel/Zionism, Jewish education and antisemitism.ย He has been a fellow of the Anti-Defamation Leagueโ€™s Center for Antisemitism Research and serves on the national advisory board of the Center for Small Town Jewish Life at Colby College.ย In 2023, Matt received a Distinguished Early Career Award from the Association for the Social Scientific Study of Jewry.
