Rabbi Ari Witkin

Rabbi Ari Witkin is the director of strategy and philanthropic impact at the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. Before joining the philanthropy team, he served as Director of leadership development where he championed strengthening and diversifying community leadership pipelines. Throughout his career Ari had had the opportunity to serve the Jewish community in a vast array of roles, including congregational leadership, campus and chaplaincy work, to leadership roles in start-ups helping to envision a mlre innovative Jewish future. Regardless of the role, his focus is always on building vibrant Jewish community that weaves together the wisdom of our tradition and the best practices of the day. Ari holds and Masters in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and was ordained at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College where he was a Wexner Fellow.
