Lester Bronstein has served as rabbi of Bet Am Shalom Synagogue in White Plains, N.Y., since 1989. He is a past board member of the RRA and was a member of the Commission on the Role of the Rabbi for the Reconstructionist movement. Currently, he is president of the New York Board of Rabbis, as well as a board member of T’ruah and the UJA-Federation of New York.
