Rabbi Nina Mandel

Nina H. Mandel serves as rabbi at Congregation Beth El in Sunbury, Pa., and the director of Jewish Life at Susquehanna University. At SU, she has been an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Religious Studies, and in Jewish and Israel Studies, as well as other areas. She writes about matters of Jewish life and practice, as well as ethical and topical issues, and pursues her spiritual practice of baking and tending animals. “You open your hand and the needs of all are satisfied” (Psalm 145:16).
