Steph Breitsman

Steph Breitsman (she/her) is a fourth-year rabbinical student at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. She is also a soferet-in-training (scribe) and artist, and she is completing a two-year program to be a creative facilitator with the Jewish Studio Project. Currently, she serves as the rabbinic advisor at Bryn Mawr College Hillel, where she supports students in nurturing a pluralistic Jewish community and developing their own creative relationships to Jewish tradition. Prior to starting at RRC, Steph worked for three years with Americans for Peace Now, a U.S. Jewish nonprofit that advocates for the end of the Israeli occupation and for a two-state solution. She also received her master’s degree in Middle East Studies from the George Washington University.
