Zach Teutsch is the founder and managing partner at Values Added Financial, a comprehensive, fiduciary financial firm helping progressives to live financial lives they feel good about.
Prior to his work as a financial advisor, Zach was at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), providing financial education to the public. Before that, he built the first national financial-skills education programs for union members.
He has taught investment and financial planning topics to groups all around the country, and he has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Forbes, Barron’s, Investment News, Architectural Digest, Recode and more.He grew up attending Reconstructionist Minyan Dorshei Derekh in Philadelphia. He now lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife, Becca, and their two kids (Shula and Sender), where he belongs to the New Synagogue Project. When he isn’t working or parenting, he is often frustrated by Philadelphia sports teams.
