Barb Richman is a Jewish Studio Project Fellow and an active member of Adat Shalom Reconstructionist Congregation. She enjoys walking and hiking, cooking, reading and making beaded jewelry, and she leads a women’s Torah-study group. She enjoyed bringing her artistic eye to magazine design when she managed Earth, environmental, and space sciences publications. Barb lives in Bethesda, Md., with her husband, Charlie, where they raised two daughters — one now a Reconstructionist rabbi, the other a writer. Barb especially loves being a Bubbie to two adorable grandchildren.
