Rabbi Katie Mizrahi

Rabbi Katie Mizrahi grew up in Boulder and Denver, Colorado, where she developed a great love of mountains and big skies.  She graduated from Stanford University with honors in Philosophy and Religious Studies and was ordained through the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in 2005.  After two years as a Rabbinic Fellow and Sabbatical Rabbi in New York City (B’nai Jeshurun and West End Synagogue), she served as the rabbi of Or Shalom Jewish Community in San Francisco for 15 years.  Rabbi Katie returned to Denver in the fall of 2022, where she currently serves as the rabbi for B’nai Havurah Denver Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation. Rabbi Katie’s approach to Judaism is musical, joyful, intellectual and inclusive.  Her spiritual practice includes drumming, singing, social justice, Torah learning, gardening, yoga and kindness.  She lives in Centennial, Colorado with her husband and their two sons.
